Having worked with schools for over 10 years, Source One Technology was invited to share its experiences with Milwaukee Archdiocese Principals Association (MAPA) members this last Friday.  MAPA provides professional development to principals in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and works closely with the Office for Schools.

The bi-annual event, attended by over 100 Catholic school principals and administrators and held, this time at St Alphonsus School, brought together experts on a range of subjects.  The special guest speaker was Rick Hess of the American Enterprise Institute think tank, who offered various creative ideas for school reform and professional development.

Patrick McHugh and I were there representing Source One Technology to talk about what we do and share our experiences implementing technology in schools.  Having recently worked with North Lake School District to add a practical element to their IT director’s professional development plan, we really valued the chance to hear from educators about the challenges and opportunities in Professional Development for staff.

We’d like to thank MAPA for the opportunity to talk with everyone at the event.
